 Amy Shark is coming to Townsville on August 26th!! Crystal & Anthony spoke to her about her fav sitcom, life on the road and if she really did get her stage name from her love of the movie Jaws.

 Damon Jaenke is an elite wheelchair basketballer from Mackay and a cancer survivor. After getting help in 2017 after his breakdown, Damon used his platform to spread awareness for mental health. He recently completed his First 42.2 km Marathon at Gold Coast and has now set his sights on the Townsville Airport Marathon. Have a listen to Crystal & Anthony's chat with him below!

 Every week Crystal & Anthony play a game called "Is it BS?!" You call in and tell a story, and they guess if it's real or BS. This morning Debbie called in with the story of finding a dead body, and it Crystal & Anthony's jaws dropped when she revealed it was true. 

 2 years ago Danny Abdallah faced a tragedy that every parent has had nightmares about, 3 of his 6 children were killed by a drunk & drug driver on the roads of Sydney! In a decision that amazed the country, him and his wife decided to forgive the driver. On Monday the NRL played the iforgive cup, promoting the importance of forgiveness.

 This morning Crystal & Anthony spoke to Elisa Clark, the Mum of a 4 year old who is allergic to everything including outside air and solid food. Clara's allergies stop her from being able to go to kindy and mean she may never attend school. 

 Townsville author Krissy Reagan is putting her body on the line for the people of Ukraine. 

Crystal & Anthony put the call out for an NQ Mumma who's had more than one set of twins.

 On Friday we lost Brendan Tyrrell as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was an incredible young man who left behind 3 young children and a wife who he adored more than anything. Listen to Crystal & Anthony's chat with his Dad below about the amazing tribute ride happening this Saturday, and about the important message they are sending about motorbike saftey. 

 You just never know what you're going to come across on NQ Facebook pages. This post on  "Magnetic Island" gave Crystal a bit of a giggle this morning. 

 Townsville Facebook pages are flooding with concern from locals about the heavy rain coming to North Queensland late Tuesday and on Wednesday. Crystal & Anthony spoke to Nitzo the Oz Cyclone Chaser, about the rain which could be well over 100mm.

We love that Gail's Fish and Chips in Northward gives away free tartar with their food which is a win! But how do you pronounce it?

After Hungry Jacks Domain ran out of fries, Crystal and Anthony called the shop live in the show the following morning to make sure they had been able to get their hands on some that day for hangry Townsvillian's.

Crystal & Her partner Joey have been together 3 years now, and on Sunday they were spotted at CastleTown browsing at and sizing up engagement rings! One of the shop keepers asked if they would be hearing about the saga on the radio, and of course Crystal & Anthony then DID speak about it this morning. 

Crystal & Anthony's Tour Of Townsville parked up at the Mad Cow ! No one knows the place as well as Fi who has been the cleaner for 14 years.

The Ville has been forced to close up majority of it's venue, leaving casual staff without a wage, and the company is losing hundreds of thousands of dollars. 

 Debbie reached out to  Crystal desperate for help this morning! She has a squeaky clean rental record and has been searching for a place for her and her big family since October. In just one month she has been rejected for 17 houses, and she cannot understand why. 

Local Toolakea resident Lydia claims many locals have seen ghosts of soldiers and nurses around town. She says she has heard rumours of the town being the "casualty spot" during wars, hear the chat below. 

 Do you know a Damien in Townsville? An anonymous woman reached out to Crystal for help looking for a man, who she says is the love of her life.

 Some local cyclists were doing their usual morning ride, when they come across a rapidly building fire. 

 We're always running out of series and looking for something new to watch! Crystal this morning had a recommendation.

 Nick Dametto MP cohosted the show with Crystal and shared plenty of stories!  One time he was in 90ft water laying on a boogie board, chopping up fish, whilst his mates waited below the water to spear the fish that come up for a sniff. Yep, that's a true story!

 Townsville has been left devastated after multiple fatalities on our roads in the last couple of days. A mother was one of those lost in an accident on Wednesday morning North of Townsville, her brother Scott spoke to Crystal & Brady this morning, and asked for people to open their hearts and donate to help support her children 

 Robot vacuum's are VERY trendy at the moment, but are they actually any good? Crystal &  Brady asked Townsvillians for their honest reviews, and the most popular response was they're good if you don't have pets & that more expensive IS better. 

 Local Chanele's Dad is in South Africa with cancer and no health insurance & no support... the health system is nothing like Australia! Due to Covid he also doesn't have a job. Chanelle is here in Townsville and doing what she can to raise money to give him the health care he needs. 

 This morning Crystal & Brady were talking about your bub's first word! They had a range of callers sharing different stories from naughty words, to dog's names and even a keen fisherman who's first word was "barra!" 

 Crystal went to get the lump on her breast checked by the GP, and was left disappointed at how long she has to wait to get the actual ultrasound! 

 This morning Crystal admitted she has been putting off going to the Dr after finding a strange lump in her breast two nights ago. Brady insisted on the spot he will be making her an appointment 

 Queensland year 12 student Casey Apiata framed a single-use plastic bag in 2018 when they were being phased out, now he has sold it for $300 !! 

 State Of Origin takes over Townsville tonight ! Crystal sent Brady down to the stadium this morning, and he ran into Paul Gallen. He had plenty of shade to throw at our city and Crystal wasn't having a bar of it! 

 Is State Of Origin coming to Townsville? Game 1 won't be happening in Melbourne by the looks of things. Anastasia Palazuak put forward Townsville to host the game, and Mayor Jenny Hill has thrown her support behind it! This morning Crystal & Brady spoke to Queensland Origin legend Billy Moore, and he has now joined the push to bring game 1 to our beautiful city! 

 Like Netflix or Disney Plus , soon in Townville you could pay a subscription to keep your home or business safe in Townsville. 

 A group of Townsvillians are climbing 4 Mountains in a day to raise awareness for A-T and to raise money for Jarrah and his family to go on a holiday. The climb kicks off at 5am tomorrow! (Saturday) 

 A study of over 9000 dogs has revealed that smaller older dogs are more likely to be aggressive and snappy as they get older! The study, published in Scientific Reports (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-021-88793-5) ,  only includes 23 breeds and is not exhaustive.
