On IdaHistory's new Podcast, Conversations, historian Mark Iverson addresses the concept of the "real American" and challenges the notion that such an individual or group exists. Through a series of conversations between Mark and a diverse set of Idahoans, among others, he aims to highlight how who we are often defines how we perceive the United States of America and, conversely, how fellow Americans judge, label, and ultimately define us.
