NOA is a wearable mobility aid for visually impaired people, designed as a shoulder harness which complements a primary mobility aid such as a White Cane or Guide Dog. It can provide navigation instructions to guide you to specific destinations, detect obstacles in your path, locate different objects you need to find such as stairs, doors, empty seats, bus stops, etc and provide brief as well as extremely detailed descriptions of your surroundings. This podcast is designed to raise awareness of this truly life-changing device and highlight my own personal experiences from a user's perspective. I will be demonstrating it's features and capabilities as well as real-life examples of NOA in action.
