Soup kitchen Republic

Ireland's economic crisis has resulted in a sort of 'soup kitchen charity franchise'. The midlands town of Athlone will see its first soup kitchen open in the coming days. It’s being opened by a former helicopter pilot who’s been running a soup kitchen in his home city of Galway for the last five months.
