Harold Van Der Wolfe was part of the second wave of soldiers to land in Northern France as part of the D Day Landings. In an interview with BBC Radio Cornwall, he describes the experience of taking the beaches, losing friends and pushing further into the French countryside. He talks candidly about the nightmare he suffered decades after the conflict ended and how proud he feels for helping to win the war.
