Longest day ever!

What a day. From an hour short of Raetea Summit to Apple Damn. A total of 12 hours walking time in the hardest tramping conditions around. 7 hours of rain and mud with slipping and getting cold and just for a minute asking the question why am I doing this. The long day was dumb and in doing it I slipped a whole day. I hurt so bad. Walked the last 3 hours with Richie and Phil but I let them go half way into that because my feet just hurt to much. Longest day ever!
