The emotional roller coaster of IVF - Alison Dewer from Carrickfergus shares her story

A new documentary series starts tonight on BBC1 Northern Ireland that follows couples on their emotional journey through fertility treatment. The Baby Makers follows couples as they experience the highs and lows of treatment as they strive to conceive and viewers will also get to see the step-by-step process of IVF and the delicate scientific procedure which takes place in the fertility clinic laboratory.
