RTE's Countrywide: farmer Ronan Byrne tells Ella about his new on-farm abattoir

In the early 1990s, there were 1,000 abattoirs in Ireland. Today, that number is just 200. One farmer who is bucking the trend is Galway's Ronan Byrne, a poultry farmer, who will open his new abattoir next week.
