This is what happens in my house when power goes away. Recorded with ten microphones in different parts of the house: (4x Cad M179, Audio Technica AT-822 X/Y single-point stereo, built-in mics on the Olympus LS14 recorder, and an iPhone4 hosting the Tascam IXJ2 with a set of Sound Professionals MS-BMC3 omni-directional mics.)
