"I was punched when pregnant": Caller tells of life on England's "crowded" mental health units.

A report by the health watchdog, The Care Quality Commission found overcrowding on some wards in England, which they say is putting patients at risk of abuse and neglect. They carried out inspections of more than 1500 mental health wards. In one facility patients had to earn access to fresh air, food or drink through good behaviour. And inspectors found a routine use of handcuffs to restrain patients, even on those who presented no risk of violence.
