BBC Radio York - Will a new energy co-op in York save members £100s a year?

A new Energy Co-op is being formed in York - The hope is that the 5000 people who join the scheme in the city could save at least £100+ a year on their gas and electricty bills.

The scheme is being run jointly by the City of York Council and the Community Energy Direct Group.
