Foyle MP Mark Durkan says people behind failed mortar bomb attack want to turn Derry into a 'theatre for death and destruction'

A security alert is continuing in Derry/Londonderry this morning following the discovery of four mortar bomb attacks in a van. Around a hundred homes have been evacuated in the Old Letterkenny Road area. Three men have been arrested and police say they're linking the find to dissident republican activity.
