This Wednesday on 5 Live Sport Mark Pougatch and Mike Costello present a special edition of 5 Live Track and Field.
It's called THE RECORD FAKERS - and is an investigation into the ongoing human and emotional cost of East Germany's doping programme, which helped them dominate the Sport in the 1970s and 1980s
You'll hear some extraordinary stories from those who doped, and the consequences they faced. We'll also ask whether the Athletics record books should now be rewritten and whether the Sport is currently winning its battle with the cheats.
