The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete. A film by George Tillman Jr #sundancelondonUK

This film is about two young boys who live in the inner city and are left alone to fend for themselves all summer after their mothers are taken away by the police. I speak to The Director George Tillman Jr who told me how hard it is to get African American films funded, featuring Alicia Keys who became a friend during filming and helped raise money for the film and Jennifer Hudson this film had a lot of people in tears. Lets hope this film gets the recognition that it deserves.
