Failure is only feedback, not a stop sign

What would you do if you believed deep down in your sub conscious that failure wasn't a stop sign but merely feedback? I was contemplating this yesterday and end my day starting a novel - prolifically! what could you do if you told yourself 'failure is only feedback'? try it and find out.
