On my first full day in Germany dieter and I visited Brunnsbuttel, at the point where the river Elbe meets the sea, and where the Nord Ostsee k Kanal, known in English as the Kiel canal, begins. We initially had a brisk walk along one of the dykes before heading for the huge ship locks. This recording follows us walking to the viewing area, and captures the ambience of the area. #Rvg13 #ship #canal #container #lock #visitor
