Cologne Cathedral and the Rhine

I've always wanted to visit Cologne cathedral, for a long time the tallest building in Europe, and staggeringly imposing at that. I had timed my tickets specifically to allow time to wander in the city between trains, and particularly to make it inside the cathedral.
