Ann Travers talks on the Nolan TV show about the appointment of Mary McArdle, imprisoned for her role in her sister's killing, as a Special Adviser to SF

In 1984, Mary Travers was shot dead by the IRA. She was 23 years of age.
One of those jailed over her role in the killing was 19-year-old Mary McArdle. Sentenced to life, she was released as part of the Good Friday Agreement. In 2010 she was appointed to the role of special adviser to Sinn Fein Culture Minister Carál Ní Chuilín. A decision which devastated Mary Travers' sister Ann.
