Diane Williams talking about her father Don Hibbert, who was a Japanese prisoner of war in World War II. She fell in love with the Japanese language and perhaps surprisingly, her father encouraged her to study it and to carry on a legacy of reconciliation that he started. It was an attitude that wasn't always shared by his former POWs.
