Power of the Club (Radio) - Tony Fernandez

Outside of school, disadvantaged children have no place to go during the day leaving them alone to face choices they're too young to handle. At the Clubs these children have a safe place, under supervision where they learn to trust adults and become part of the community through the relationships they will form.

As a ten-year-old Club member, it was an adventure for me to step into my community and develop new relationships with adults—and it was fun. I can’t think of an organization that does a better job at uniting the community to meet the needs of our youth than the Boys and Girls Clubs.
