Northern Ireland's councils spent over 26 million pound last year cleaning up our mess. And no that's NOT your weekly bin collections - over £26 million pound picking up litter people have dropped, washing dog dirt away and cleaning up your streets. For the 2012/2013 year our 26 councils spent £26,380,677 and 66 pence on street cleansing.
