Would Bill Shankly have said this about Gareth Bale?

Bill Shankly was born 100 years ago today. He didn't care much for footballers who were paid well but didn't put the effort in. Have a listen to this clip I found in the BBC archive. All relative to the era, of course, but this audio of Shankly is amazing. Wonder what he would say today?
