German election - The Morning After

Angela Merkel has swept to victory in elections in Germany – increasing her party's share of the vote and coming close to an outright majority. She will now need to find a coalition partner – a grand coalition with the Social Democrats is the most likely option. But as our Europe Correspondent Chris Morris reports from Berlin, the election results are a ringing endorsement of her policies at home and abroad.
