Will 'gendercide' change the way we think about abortion?

The deliberate abortion of baby girls – "gendercide" – is the world's most disturbing demographic trend. In some parts of India, 120 boys are born for every 100 girls.

I find it rather disturbing that articles like this only appear when it is girls who are the victims of something. There are several countries in the world, like Latvia, that have greater numbers of females than males and this is because of suicide and poor male health. Where are the articles about these men who are killing themselves and dying 10 years younger than their female counterparts?

This conversation talks about gendercide in India and China. For us, that's irrelevant. The UK can only legislate for the UK. Please talk about it only in the UK context-oour opinion about what goes on in India has been irrelevant since 1947
