WORKPLACE MAJOR INJURIES HIT AN ALL TIME LOW FOR 2012/13

Figures published today by the Heath and Safety Executive (HSE) show an 11 per cent drop in major UK occupational injuries compared with 2011/12. However, IOSH says these figures should be welcomed with caution as the reasons behind the fall might not be straightforward. Tim Barnes-Clay spoke to IOSH's senior policy and technical adviser Phil Bates to find out more.
