The rise of South Africa's jazz singer Simphiwe Dana

Simphiwe Dana is a contemporary jazz singer from #SouthAfrica who's just completed her first tour of the USA promoting her third album entitled "kulture Noir".
Born in the Eastern Cape and like many singers, got started in church. Her debut album "andisile" won a South African music award for best jazz vocal album in 2005...and ever since she's been going from strength to strength.
At her last stop of her US tour in Los Angeles, she sat down with our reporter Nnamdi Moweta to talk about her music.
