Taking care of a young teenager as a single mum, or as a parenting unit can be extremely stressful as it is. Temper tantrums, new boyfriends and girlfriends, oh and let's not even mention the mess.

It can be a difficult time for the children and the parents. Even more so for a parent who's child has a disability and that is where Fran Fernandez finds herself.
