Weekend last I had the privilege of attending a three-day Money-making workshop in London. Entitled the millionaire mind intensive, this course champions ways to bring more money into our lives by using all our faculties, not just our careers or jobs. The most important emphasis was put on what we do with our minds - the way we think about money, and how deleting any negative thoughts and actions can increase our wealth. These are beliefs I already held but there's always more to learn and I particularly enjoyed the notion of SPFENGing money. SPFENG is an acronym which stands for Save, Play, Freedom, Education, Necessities and Giving, names which it's suggested we give to 6 different bank accounts into which we put 10% of all our income for the first four accounts Saving, Play Freedom and Education), 55% for Necessities and 5% for Giving. For someone like myself who often struggles with budgeting, this was a revolutionary idea and I've spent the last week putting it to the test. I am happy to report that it really works well and is giving me a clarity about where my money goes which is new to me.
