This song was recorded by Ketchikan, Alaska, newsman Bill Baker in about 1973. Bill and I (Bob Kern) had a little "feud" going on... I'd tell jokes about him, this was one of his responses. This was recorded, by the way, in Ketchikan's old Frontier Saloon, with DJ Howard Bethe playing piano. If you listen closely, you can hear bar patrons giving Bill a round of applause. The quality is poor since it was recorded in a bar on a cheap cassette machine.
