A seasonal science series Science is Everywhere will air from 18:00 - 19:00 on New Years Eve, December 31 2013 and New Years Day, January 1 2014 on Newstalk 106-108fm. On New Year's Eve the full documentary is the science of sound & music and on New Year's Day there are two half hour episodes; the science of love followed by the science of water. So music, love and water - all the essentials of human life in the first run of Science is Everywhere. The full 8 part series will be broadcast on Newstalk in Spring 2014.

Science is Everywhere is a new science series for Newstalk 106-108fm presented by young scientist Dr Lara Dungan which aims to explore everyday questions about our world and lives, from the water we drink, to why we fall in love. Dr Dungan is already an established voice on Newstalk’s regular science programme Futureproof. She is a biologist with a Phd from Trinity College Dublin and is now studying medicine at University College Dublin, 'My passion in life is to share the way science works’, she says. Science is Everywhere is an Athena Media production for Newstalk made with the support of the BAI. The executive producer is Helen Shaw.
