Jason Collin's 98 reason

In April basketball player Jason Collins became the first active professional sportsman in any of North America's top sports to openly declare himself as gay. Collins has always worn the number 98 on his shirt, but up until his coming out he never revealed the reason behind his choice of jersey number.
