A new TV programme about Ian Paisley looks back at his controversial life in NI politics

Anyone with even a vague interest in Northern Ireland politics is likely to be glued to the box tonight. That's because a much talked about Ian Paisley interview will be aired this evening. The former First Minister and DUP leader has been talking to veteran journalist Eamon Mallie. There's been widespread criticism over comments in the interview about the 1974 Dublin and Monaghan bombings. The frank interview will be broadcast over two programmes, starting at 10.35pm on BBC1 tonight.
