Should parents be fined if their children are late for school?

Two schools in Milton Keynes have introduced £60 fines if pupils are persistently late. And if they don't pay that within 21 days - it DOUBLES!

So, what do you think? A good way to encourage good attendance and punctuality? Or will it hit those families who are already struggling?
