Facebook at 10: What place it has in our lives?

It's Facebook's birthday today. Ten years ago Mark Zuckerberg founded the social media site from his dorm room at Harvard University.
Since then, Facebook has become a global service with more than 1.2 billion monthly active users.
So what place it has in our lives?
