Time to Talk Day - Newcastle

Mental health problems are common - but nearly nine out of ten people who experience them say they face stigma and discrimination as a result.

So, today's been designated the first national Time to Talk day - the idea being that if we ALL have more conversations about mental health we'll start to break down some of the taboos.

Let's face it though, it's not an easy thing to do. Can you imagine someone at work asking how you are and you telling them you're anxious or depressed? So how do you go about it?
