£249,000 a year for the next head of Queen's University. That's the whopping figure on the front page of the Belfast Telegraph today. It says the pay package for new vice chancellor Professor Patrick Johnston is the highest in N Ireland's public sector. It's also £19,000 higher than his predecessor in the Queen's job.
