On a day of potential clues for the novice events at the Cheltenham Festival, it was Irving who stood out as he impressively showcased his Supreme Novice Hurdle credentials in the Dovecote at Kempton.
There were also big successes for Activial, Balder Succes and Caroline Keevil's Bally Legend at Kempton, whilst Wyck Hill returned to winning ways in the Eider Chase at Newcastle.
Mark Walton is joined in the studio by Mick Naughton to reflect on Saturday's star performances before attention turns to Monday's action at Musselburgh.
