Fictitious Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC)

For the first time, partners working together to help protect victims and children affected by the most serious cases of domestic abuse, have allowed access to the confidential Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) by digitally recording the process at a confidential location in West Mercia.

Around 250 MARACs are held regularly across the country and by making the names, locations and circumstances discussed in the recording totally fictitious, it is hoped this will be of interest to you wherever you may live. By demonstrating the help and support available, we hope to encourage anyone affected by domestic abuse to seek help and advice.

The scenario used is a realistic representation of a typical serious domestic abuse case that has been referred to the MARAC.
