Network Rail apologise for their handling of fatalities on the rail network.

A report from the Transport Select Committee out today says that EVERY death on British railways last year was a personal tragedy which could have been averted.

They have heavily criticised the way Network Rail treats families following tragedies on the railways, and have called for the number of deaths to be reduced to ZERO by 2020.

Network Rail must also apologise to the families of those killed, who they say, were treated 'appallingly'.
