Should George Osborne dish out tax cut goodies for the better off?

It's Budget Day and once again taxing the well-off is one of the big issues. Chancellor George Osborne controversially announced last year he was cutting the tax rate for earnings over £150,000. Now he's facing calls for a middle class tax break. Former Conservative Chancellors claim too many people are caught up in the 40p tax rate, which kicks in at £42,150 a year. But Mr Osborne has reportedly told Tory MPs that paying the 40p rate makes people feel "successful".
