Beaten and left for dead - now Scott Vineer's family have been fighting to get him an operation.

You'll remember the case of Scott Vineer - the autistic teenager was the victim of an absolutely horrific, savage attack in September 2012. Beaten, punched, kicked, strangled and left for dead he found close to the Lagan towpath in Lisburn. Scott was so badly injured he wasn't expected to pull through. Against all the odds he's fought back but has been left with a series of health problems including brain damage. He's also been told that he needs quite a specialised but important operation. The family has contacted the show over concerns about a delay in getting this operation. They felt they were coming up against brick wall.
