One wonders where next is in the sights for South Sudan's rebels... Their forces who have been fighting troops loyal to President Salva Kiir now say they have captured Mayom, another key town in Unity State... This one is said to be strategically significant - because it is from Mayoum that SPLA troops till now had been launching their offensives against the rebels. There are now many questions being asked in the fledgling country as to where this leaves the peace talks in Addis Ababa if both sides seem intent on pursuing military gains...? But the attack on a UN camp in Bor last week by a militia group who killed civilians right under the very nose of UNMISS peacekeepers has given cause for concern. But at who's behest and do they have the mandate? Bola Mosuro asked Joe Contreras, Acting Spokesperson for UNMISS who's in Juba.
