Latest political fall-out as Assembly votes down gay marriage for third time

Northern Ireland says NO to gay marriage. Another vote calling for the introduction of same-sex marriage in Northern Ireland has been rejected at Stormont. It's the third time that's happened in the last 18 months. A total of 51 MLAs voted against the Sinn Féin motion, while 43 voted in favour. We now live in the only part of the UK which has not passed a law to introduce same-sex marriage. Are you happy with that? Or would you like to see us fall in line with Scotland, England and Wales?
