Police Scotland is setting up a pilot Clares Law project to protect women from violent partners.

Clare Wood was murdered by her boyfriend in Salford in 2009 and her father Michael Brown, from Aberdeen, has been campaigning for the right to know if a partner has a history of domestic violence.

Alex Salmond announced a pilot project in Scotland at First Minister's Questions earlier, with Clare's Law being rolled out across England and Wales.
