If you're a visually impaired boo-er it won't have escaped your attention that Sendero, in association with the RNIB, has launched a GPS app in the UK, specifically designed for blind and partially sighted users. Considerable noise has been generated around their decision to use a monthly subscription model, but I wanted to put the app itself to the test in a real life situation... and how much more real life can you get than meeting my friend Mark in a London pub.

So, here we go with Road Test One, a walk of around a third of a mile, on familiar territory in Westminster - what could possibly go wrong?
