Worthing woman hopes her story will promote fostering

A foster carer from Worthing hopes her experience will encourage others to take up fostering. It's as West Sussex Council, who are marking Foster Care Fortnight from Monday, say there's an urgent shortage of foster carers. It says there's a particular need to find loving homes for teenagers, siblings and children over the aged of seven. Sandra Shapely has looked after several youngsters over a three and a half year period, and says fostering can be both challenging and rewarding.
