Hello Sir, could I speak to the person who deals with your energy requirements?

So today my limited company details must have changed on a database somewhere and the fact that my megacorp doesn't have an energy contract anywhere seems to have hit the ground running; I reckon at least a dozen calls. I started recording them commencing the pitch with "I routinely record calls made to this company" which confused a few. Most of the calls were based on fear... "YOU DON'T HAVE AN ENERGY CONTRACT AND ARE ON AN EMERGENCY TARRIF!" One, rather cleverly started with, "I am calling because I know you have been getting lots of calls today and I would like to sort this out for you! The people have been telling you you are on an emergency tariff but you don't seem to be" Every pitch contained numerous outright lies.
