Hannah Wright on the barriers to women's political participation

At ODI's roundtable on 'Women, peace and security: what is the way forward for gender work in post-conflict and transitional settings', we spoke to Hannah Wright from Saferworld about how insecurity is a barrier to women's political participation, and how we don't need to develop more policies at the international level to promote the role of women in peace and security, or address violence against women - but rather encourage the political will to implement them.
