Charity in the City: The City Bridge Trust

Every year, the City of London Corporation’s charity, @CityBridgeTrust, provides grants totalling around £15 million to address disadvantage by supporting charitable activity across Greater London. Originally established in the 11th-century to pay for the maintenance of London’s bridges, the Trust has used surplus funds to help ‘good causes’ since 1995.
