2022 World Cup: Liberia's Nagabe rejects corruption allegation

The London Sunday Times newspaper report that millions of dollars were paid to football officials to support Qatar's successful bid to host the World Cup in 2022.

It printed reams of allegations against FIFA executive officials including the head of the African Football confederation Issa Hayatou - who has dismissed the allegations as fanciful and ridiculous.

Many others named have also rubbished the claims including Eugene Nagabe who is now Liberia's Minister of Youth and Sports who allegedly asked for $50,000 so that Liberian George Weah could campaign on behalf of the Qatari FIFA executive Mohammed Bin Hammam to become the next chief of FIFA.
